Service Description: Utilizes a bio-psychosocial approach to assessment and treatment
  • Inpatient bed unit
  • Outpatient program: individualized care for people living with schizophrenia whose needs cannot be met through acute inpatient or community-based services * assessment * Schizophrenia Day Program
  • Consultation services: available for individuals with a diagnosis of schizophrenia or suspected schizophrenia
  • Recovery Inpatient Service: available for patients who are unable to live or function independently in the community
Fees: Set fees * Covered by the Ontario Health Card
Application: A physician referral is needed for acceptance into the Royal's Schizophrenia Program * referral to The Royal Assertive Community Treatment Team is through Central Intake at 613-798-2976
