| Service Description: | Supervised child care provided in a caregiver's home * licensed by the Ministry of Education | ||
| Fees: | Set fee * fees are based on the age of the child * $38 daily for an infant * $37 daily for a toddler * $36 daily for preschoolers * subsidies may be available | ||
| Application: | A parent who calls looking for care is referred to an approved caregiver who has completed the necessary checks and has had a home inspection by the home visitor to ensure safety issues are met | ||
| Eligibility - Population(s) Served: | Anyone wishing to provide child care in their home must complete an criminal record check through CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre), fire inspection, immunizations and TB Tuberculosis testing, well water test if applicable, and immunization of pets | ||
